Empowering Your Future Through Education

Academic Competitions

COMPETITIVE NETWORKING EVENTS - Bringing business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

Members demonstrate their business expertise at high-profile regional, state, and national competitive events. The top students are recognized with trophies and cash awards. Learn more about  FBL-Australia University Competitive Networking Events, our Senior Secondary College and High School Business Achievement Awards Academic Competitions and our Middle School regional, state, and national level Middle School Achievement Awards.

The National Awards Program  events are governed by specific Guidelines and Rating Sheets. The Chapter Management Handbook (CMH) ensures you are using the most recent version of the guidelines  to prepare for your competition.

High School & Senior College Competitive Recognition

FBL-Australia's High School & Senior College Individual and Team events framework focus on leadership and career development skills, such as public speaking, presentation, and business writing. In addition, students demonstrate skill-specific competencies.

Chapter events recognise overall achievement in managing and growing an FBL-Australia Local Level Chapter.

Local Level Chapters may earn the National Outstanding Chapter Award of Merit. Chapters receiving this recognition are nominated by their State Chapter.

High School students can earn recognition and awards by competing in Business Achievement Awards, our Secondary School Business and Career related Academic Competitions. These competitive event recognitions fall into three categories:

  1. Individual,
  2. Team, and
  3. Chapter

University & Tertiary Institutions Competitive Events

FBL-Australia's University & Tertiary Institutions framework is underpinned by a series of Competitive Networking Events, recognising and rewarding excellence in a broad range of Business and Career-related areas.

The events also prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment.

At the State Leadership Conferences, students compete in events testing their business knowledge and skills. Top state winners are then eligible to compete for national awards at the National Awards Program held at the end of each Year. Competitive event recognitions fall into three categories:

  1. Individual,
  2. Team, and
  3. Chapter.

Individual and Team events focus on skills useful in leadership and career development skills, such as public speaking, presentation, and business writing. In addition, students demonstrate skill-specific competencies.  Chapter events recognise overall achievement in managing and growing an FBL-Australia Local Level Chapter.
